The end of globalization. Geopolitical impacts for companies.

The Board of Openindustria was a guest at Prof. Tremonti's studio, in Milan, for another series of lectures entitled “The end of globalization, geopolitical impacts for Italian companies”.

We have explored how globalization is no longer an immutable market constant, but a critical variable that every enterprise must learn to govern. Between geopolitical tensions and new industrial strategies, we are faced with a paradigm shift that redefines supply chains, investments, and the roles of states.

During the meeting, topics such as

- Global scenarios

- Resilience and Strategy.

- Real economy.

- Supply Chain.

But also the role of China and the other great powers and the role and attention that Europe, and Italy first and foremost, must have in order to be able to face increasingly unpredictable and impactful situations in the economy as well as in today's society.

The Mattei Plan. Opportunities and regulations.

OpenIndustria hosted Senator Toni Iwobi in a lecture, curated by speaker and president Marco Pugliese, focusing on the opportunities of the Mattei Plan with a specific focus on Nigeria.

The event was an opportunity to propose a medium- to long-term strategic vision that aims to overcome the old welfare and transform itself into a true geopolitical and industrial action.

The Senator presented a case study dedicated to Nigeria, a territory that represents the perfect testing ground for the plan. The nation holds the record as the continent's leading oil producer and is consistently among the top ten countries in the world for natural gas reserves.

The Mattei Plan aims to undermine the old, purely extractive model that enriched only local elites, generating widespread poverty, while instead focusing on the creation of industrial supply chains capable of generating well-being and stability directly in the area.
